Local Cancer Leaders Partner to Offer Free Smoking Cessation Program
Make a commitment to quit for good!
(COVINGTON, LA) - St. Tammany Parish Hospital (STPH) is partnering with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington to host a free eight week smoking cessation program,11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Jan. 12 through March 2 at the STPH Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion, 16300 Highway 1085 in Covington, LA. Registration is required. Call the STPH Cancer Resource Center at (985) 898-4581.
The cessation program features a combination of methods, which may increase the odds of successfully quitting. Participants will receive the tools and resources they need to permanently quit.
