Jennifer O’Neil Joins Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center Development Office
(Covington, LA) -- Jennifer O'Neil has joined the non-profit Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center as its new Development Officer serving the Greater Northshore and Tangipahoa areas. A life-long resident of Hammond, she earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University. O'Neil has prior experience in the non-profit sector as the Marketing/Communications Assistant at Special Olympics Louisiana. With a passion for community development, O'Neil helped charter a new young leadership organization for Tangipahoa Parish -- Leaders Impacting Tomorrow's Tangipahoa (LITT) -- and is currently serving as its secretary. She most recently worked as the Chamber Specialist of the Hammond Chamber of Commerce, focusing on member relations, event management, public relations and marketing.
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center has been fighting cancer for over 35 years with locations in Baton Rouge, Covington, Hammond, Houma and Gonzales.
