The 2010 Taste of the Tournament Par-Tee and Auction, a kick-off party for the Mary Bird Perkins Merrill Lynch Open, took place at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. This fun night of fundraising included a silent and live auction, Lee Michaels "sand trap" dig and a professional putting green! Guests had the opportunity to try some of the best food Baton Rouge has to offer and enjoy beverages courtesy of Mockler Beverage Budweiser and Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
The 2010 Mary Bird Perkins Merril Lynch Open presented by Amedisys and MAPP Construction incorporated a week of golf and activities. The Amedisys Pro-Am tournament was held on Tuesday, June 8 at Santa Maria Golf Course. There were morning and afternoon rounds, with each round followed by the Manda Fine Meats Awards Reception, a Putting Contest sponsored by Taylor Porter and complimentary food and beverages.
On Wednesday, June 9 through Saturday, June 12, 2010 the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series took place at Santa Maria Golf Course.
