Lymphedema Prevention Clinics

Lymphedema prevention clinics are offered by Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s C.A.R.E. Network. This is a program for breast cancer survivors who have had lymph node removal and have not been diagnosed with lymphedema.

A one-on-one consultation with a certified lymphedema therapist is offered free of charge and will include instruction about the signs and symptoms of this condition and ways to prevent its occurrence. No physician referral is needed to attend this clinic. No treatment will be administered. If treatment is recommended, the participant will be referred to her/his physician.
